DAFE Cookie Policy Version 2.0 Effective Date: 25 September 2026 DAFE uses cookies and similar browser technologies where necessary to operate and improve the service. This Policy explains the categories of technologies used. ## Strictly Necessary Technologies Strictly necessary technologies may be used for functions such as: - authentication - session management - account security - preventing abuse - preserving essential application state - remembering cookie-consent choices These technologies are necessary for the service to function and may not require optional consent where applicable law permits their use without consent. ## Preference Technologies Preference technologies may remember choices such as: - language - display preferences - timezone - application settings Where applicable law requires consent, such technologies must not be activated until consent is obtained. ## Analytics DAFE does not currently use analytics cookies or comparable tracking. If analytics are introduced, the provider, cookie/storage key, purpose, lifetime, data transferred, country and consent category will be listed here before the technology is activated. ## Marketing DAFE does not currently use marketing or advertising trackers. Marketing technology must not load before valid consent where such consent is required. ## Cookie Controls Users must be able to choose: Accept All Reject All Customize Cookie Preferences Reject All genuinely prevents non-essential technologies from activating. Users must be able to change or withdraw consent later. ## Actual Cookie Table The following technologies are actually set by DAFE in the current production configuration: - dafe_cookie_consent — DAFE (first-party) — Strictly necessary — Stores your cookie-consent choices — Persists until you change your preferences or clear browser data. - dafe_ref — DAFE (first-party) — Affiliate / referral — Remembers an affiliate referral code after you consent to affiliate tracking — Up to 30 days. - dafe_ref_expiry — DAFE (first-party) — Affiliate / referral — Stores the expiry timestamp for the referral cookie — Up to 30 days. - Authentication / session cookies — DAFE platform (first-party) — Strictly necessary — Maintain your logged-in session and account security — Session / defined login period. DAFE does not currently set any analytics cookies or marketing/advertising cookies. The analytics and marketing consent categories exist so that, if such technologies are introduced later, they will only activate after valid consent.
