Subscription, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy
Subscription, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy Version 2.1 Effective Date: 25 September 2026 ## Plans DAFE currently offers: Free Pro Monthly — USD 15/month Pro Yearly — USD 120 for the initial 12-month term There is no free trial unless explicitly stated in a specific promotion. ## Pro Monthly USD 15/month. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. It can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly billing period, and no further recurring payment is charged after that date. ## Pro Yearly USD 120 for the initial 12-month term. The customer may cancel at any time during that initial term; paid access remains available until the end of the term. If not cancelled, the subscription does not renew into another fixed annual term. It continues on an indefinite month-to-month basis at the monthly continuation price disclosed at checkout, currently USD 15/month. The monthly continuation may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current paid monthly billing period. No further recurring payment is charged after that date. ## Billing Paid subscriptions are charged in advance according to the billing interval shown at checkout. Taxes may apply depending on the customer's location. The final amount is shown before purchase. ## Cancellation Users can manage and cancel subscriptions under: Settings - Billing Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the user retains paid Pro access until the end of the already paid subscription period. No further recurring charge should occur after the effective subscription end date. DAFE provides electronic confirmation showing the effective cancellation date. ## Failed Payments If a payment fails, DAFE may temporarily restrict Pro functionality while payment is unresolved. A failed payment must not be treated as a successful subscription payment. ## Switzerland Swiss law does not provide a general statutory cooling-off right for ordinary online purchases or subscriptions. Any mandatory special statutory right remains unaffected. If DAFE voluntarily grants an additional refund right at checkout, that voluntary right applies according to the displayed conditions. ## EU / EEA Consumers Where applicable consumer law provides a statutory right of withdrawal, consumers may withdraw from an eligible distance contract within 14 days from conclusion of the contract without giving a reason. DAFE must provide required pre-contract information concerning this right. A consumer may exercise the right through the functionality provided by DAFE or by an unequivocal notice sent to: app.dafe@gmail.com Where the consumer expressly requests that provision of the service begin during the withdrawal period, any legal consequences concerning services already provided will be handled according to applicable consumer law. DAFE must not use a blanket Terms checkbox to unlawfully remove a statutory withdrawal right. ## Germany For contracts covered by German consumer law: - the checkout must clearly indicate the payment obligation - an easily accessible electronic cancellation function must be provided for eligible continuing contracts - an electronic withdrawal function must be available where legally required during the withdrawal period - confirmation must be provided electronically - automatic contract continuation must comply with German restrictions DAFE's global Yearly model already uses an initial fixed 12-month term followed by an indefinite month-to-month continuation, with cancellation possible at any time and no new fixed yearly renewal. This satisfies the German restriction on binding a consumer to another fixed annual term merely because a cancellation deadline was missed. This does not remove German consumer-law obligations. The following remain applicable: - the electronic cancellation functionality - electronic confirmation of cancellation - statutory withdrawal rights during the withdrawal period - any other mandatory consumer rights under German law ## France For contracts covered by French consumer law: DAFE must provide an easily accessible electronic cancellation function where required. Where a fixed-term service contract includes tacit renewal and French law requires a renewal reminder, the user must receive the required notice concerning the possibility and deadline for avoiding renewal. Statutory French withdrawal rights remain unaffected. ## Other Jurisdictions Consumers may have additional mandatory rights under the law applicable to them. Nothing in this Policy removes rights that cannot legally be waived. ## Service Problems Cancellation because the user simply no longer wants to use DAFE is separate from statutory remedies for a service that has not been provided or is legally non-conforming. Mandatory remedies concerning digital services remain unaffected. ## EU Model Withdrawal Notice To: DAFE Daniel Felsinger Ifangweg 6 8610 Uster Switzerland app.dafe@gmail.com I hereby give notice that I wish to withdraw from my contract for the DAFE subscription identified below.
